Viele Menschen sind bestürzt über die Konfrontations- und Kriegspolitik. Doch ohne  Mobilisierung, ohne Proteste auch auf den Straßen und Plätzen wird diese Politik nicht aufzuhalten sein. Die Beschlüsse des NATO-Gipfels von Wales sind ein erneutes alarmierendes Zeichen. Dabei sehen wir vor allem die deutsche Bundesregierung als Adressatin unseres Protestes.

So gibt der Bericht beispielsweise keinerlei Hinweis darauf, welche Art Geschosse die Maschine getroffen haben; das wäre von Bedeutung, um zu rekonstruieren, ob die MH17 tatsächlich vom Boden aus abgeschossen worden ist.

Finland and Sweden are about to sign a new cooperation agreement with NATO this week. It is called a “Host NATO Support” and allows the NATO Response Force to enter Sweden and Finland at their request. This pushes Sweden and Finland even closer to full NATO membership. Even during the height of the Cold War, Finland and Sweden remained neutral.
