Krieg in Europa! – Frieden durch Aufrüstung?
Liebe Freund*innen,
mich bewegt das Thema weiterhin. Es soll doch tatsächlich noch Leute geben, die der NATO die Schuld am Krieg geben. Nach dem Motto, hatte die NATO schärfer gegen Putin gehalten, dann wäre es nicht so weit gekommen.
Selbst Kriegsdienstverweigerer riskieren heute lieber einen Atomkrieg, damit es schneller zum Frieden kommt. Fantastisch? Wohl kaum.
Meine Reflexionen möchte ich teilen. Sie sind beigefügt.

Über Opfer und Täter gibt es keine Zweifel. Im Fall des russischen Angriffskriegs gegen die souveräne Ukraine ist das Völkerrecht eindeutig. Ob Putin vor einem internationalen Straftribunal landen wird, weiß man nicht. Aber politisch wird er seinen Pyrrhus-Krieg mit großrussischen Zielen kaum überleben können.

The world is submerged in a sea of pain and tears. It’s not just Ukraine; it is also Colombia, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, Afghanistan, and many other places where the blood of innocents who have been taken to war is being shed. Today I condemn all conflicts and the deaths they cause and I hope that from now on we can condemn war in any corner of the world.
