On April 4 2019, Trump will gather the leaders of the NATO countries to Washington, DC to “celebrate” the 70th anniversary of NATO. April 4 is also the date of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., exactly one year after his famous antiwar speech at Riverside Church in New York City.
WBW plans to include a procession from the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial to a rally at Freedom Plaza, and nonviolent demonstrations outside the NATO meeting. Details TBA.

Mai 2018 in der Judson Memorial Church in New York eine Konferenz zur Warnung vor der gegenwärtigen Atomkriegsgefahr statt. Ziel war es, diese zu analysieren, den Atomwaffensperrvertrag der UN und andere Abrüstungsinitiativen zu propagieren und die US-amerikanische und weltweite Bewegung für Frieden und vollständige Atomabrüstung zu stärken.
